A pair of turned wooden candlesticks, possibly crafted from reclaimed pitch pine, featuring a tiered architectural form and prominent concentric grain. Each candlestick is encircled by an applied silver-coloured metal band stamped with the characters BRUNEL BRISTOL TEMPLE MEADS 1844. The pieces represent commemorative items associated with the original Great Western Railway station designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The forms comprise bulbous stems resting on broad, tiered circular bases, with green protective felt applied to the undersides.
Height: 9 inches.
