A collection of five large-format art books from the An Express Art Book series, published in the United Kingdom by Oldbourne Press for the Daily Express. This set comprises individual volumes titled Dufy, Masterpieces of Spanish Painting, Cézanne, Degas, and Gauguin. Each quarto-sized book is bound in white paper wrappers featuring a representative colour plate on the front cover. Each volume contains 16 full-page colour prints on heavy paper stock. Notable internal plates include Paul Cézanne’s Portrait of Gustave Geffroy, Edgar Degas’s L’Absinthe, and a portrait by Raoul Dufy. The covers include the series title within a decorative logo and the statement 16 BEAUTIFUL FULL COLOUR PRINTS. Facsimile signatures and inscriptions are present on several plates, such as the Raoul Dufy portrait and the Degas plate.
