A pair of heavy brass shell cases of British military origin, repurposed as commemorative ware. One case is mounted with a brass Royal Regiment of Artillery cap badge featuring a field gun surmounted by a Tudor crown. The badge displays the mottos Ubique and Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt. The Tudor crown indicates a manufacture date before 1953. The companion shell case shows a distinct shadow and residue where a matching badge was previously mounted. The cases are of cylindrical construction with flared bases.
Height: 13 inches.
