The three-dimensional design features textured detailing representing the strings, f-holes, tailpiece, and a scroll at the headstock. The piece is suspended from a small jump ring and an additional larger split ring, suitable for attachment to a bracelet or chain. The reverse of the body bears vertical stamps including the fineness mark 375 for 9 carat gold and the numeral 9. An additional maker’s mark is present above the fineness marks but is not clearly legible.
