A circular lidded desk or travel clock by Wedgwood. The piece is constructed from fine bone china with a pale turquoise ground, decorated with gilded and silvered scrolling, trellis, and geometric patterns. The case is fitted with polished silver-toned metal mounts and a hinged lid. The exterior lid features a decorative dial-like motif including a central sunburst and a ring of Roman numerals. Inside, the lid is finished in white with a central gilded and black starburst rosette. The internal clock dial comprises a pale green chapter ring with black Roman numerals, a white centre, and two black hands, signed Wedgwood. The item is accompanied by its original blue presentation box bearing the Wedgwood logo and England 1759.
