Road transport materials feature a stack of Buses Illustrated magazines including the June 1963 issue, Eastbourne Tramways by Lionel J. The lot contains several Ian Allan abc series booklets including British Bus Fleets No. 15 Midland Red and No. 17 North Western, and British Road Services. Modern transport is represented by Docklands Light Railway by Stephen Jolly and Bob Bayman published by Capital Transport.
Ephemera includes a large colour photograph of steam locomotive 60163 hauling The Talisman, a black and white photograph of locomotive 4472 at King’s Cross station, and a colour photograph of locomotive 46233 Duchess of Sutherland in a rural setting. An Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) paper envelope is also included. Football-related items comprise The Football Association Referees’ Chart and Players’ Guide to the Laws of the Game and a Bartholomew Football History Map of England & Wales.
