A ‘Broken Silence’ print on canvas by Joseph Wallace King, known as Vinciata, depicting a seated woman in a flowing white garment against a dramatic cloudy blue-green sky and a distant, subdued landscape with architectural elements. The artwork exhibits a realistic, somewhat romanticized style, suggestive of mid-20th century portraiture. A visible signature, appearing to read ‘Vinciata’, is located in the lower left corner of the canvas.
