A solitaire ring of early 20th-century? design. The piece features a central circular facet-cut stone, likely a diamond?, secured in a white metal? rub-over setting. The shoulders are crafted from white metal? and each is accented with a single small circular-cut stone grain-set within a geometric decorative motif. The shank is constructed of yellow gold, tapering towards the shoulders. The inner shank bears an impressed mark reading ’18ct’ positioned between two rectangular punches containing illegible symbols. The central stone is cut with a high crown and small table.
