A set of fourteen hand-painted nativity figures crafted from a wood-effect composition polymer. The collection comprises a central Holy Family with the Infant Jesus in a straw-filled manger, a kneeling Virgin Mary, and Joseph with a removable staff. The group further includes three Magi in ornate robes bearing gifts, two shepherds—one carrying a lamb across his shoulders and another with a staff—and a winged angel holding a banner inscribed ‘GLORIA’. The ensemble is completed by four animals: a seated donkey, an ox, and two sheep. Each figure is detailed with textured surfaces to simulate hand-carved wood and is finished in a palette of earthy tones with vibrant highlights. The underside of the figures is embossed ‘(C) ITALY’ alongside a circular fountain device and partially legible initials ‘G V’. While the Fontanini name is not present as a wordmark, these features and the distinctive finish are characteristic of the manufacturer’s well-documented production.
