This lot comprises a collection of ceramic items. It includes a part dinner service of earthenware construction decorated with a transfer-printed blue floral and brown leaf border pattern and gilt-edged rims. The service consists of a large oval serving platter, a sauce boat with an integral stand, and several plates in various sizes. The lot also contains a W.H. Grindley tea set, consisting of a light green and white glazed teacup and saucer with scalloped, gilt-edged rims. The base of the cup bears a green transfer mark featuring a crown crest above the words GRINDLEY ENGLAND. Several mugs are included in the assortment. One is a white ceramic David Corbridge Piggin mug titled Its Time to Piggin Wake Up, with markings for Collectible World Studios Limited and dated 1996. Another is a two-handled childs alphabet mug with bird illustration.
