This 2022 UK 50 pence silver proof coin was issued by The Royal Mint as part of a series celebrating the characters from Winnie-the-Pooh. The heptagonal coin is struck in sterling silver with a proof finish. The reverse features a colour-printed illustration of the characters Kanga and Roo, alongside the inscription Kanga & Roo and a small bee motif. The coin is presented in an acrylic display block with a scenic background and is accompanied by its original decorative packaging and a Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate identifies the coin as number 2341 of the issue. This series was commissioned to mark the centenary of the publication of the first Winnie-the-Pooh stories.
