A pair of silver Maundy coins from the United Kingdom, comprising a fourpence and a twopence, both dated 1837. This issue corresponds with the final year of the reign of King William IV. The reverse faces are displayed, each featuring a large crowned numeral 4 or 2 within a wreath of oak and laurel, flanked by the split date 18 37. The coins are silver in composition and are housed in a protective black plastic sleeve accompanied by typed paper identification labels.
