An Edwardian sterling silver needle case of tapered cylindrical form, manufactured by the silversmiths Levi & Salaman. The object features a plain polished finish throughout. The narrow terminal is rounded and fitted with an integrated silver suspension ring, designed to be worn on a chatelaine or as a pendant. The wider base features a removable push-fit cap. The body of the case is stamped with a full set of British hallmarks including the maker’s mark L&S, the lion passant for .925 sterling silver, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the lowercase date letter m for the year 1911.
