An Art Deco style table lamp produced by Veronese, featuring a central bronzed figurine of a female dancer with an outstretched bat-wing style cape. The figure is mounted on a circular brass-toned base which is set upon a polished green and white veined marble disc. The assembly is supported by a tiered wooden plinth with a mahogany-style finish and decorative stepped moulding. To the base of the metal figurine is a stamped copyright mark dated 2002 and the maker name Veronese within an oval cartouche. The lamp is fitted with a contemporary flared rectangular fabric shade in a cream colour and a modern black power cord. In accordance with standard practice for electrical items, this lamp is sold as a decorative object and should be inspected and tested by a qualified electrician before being connected to a mains supply.
