A large, hand-painted figurine of an elegant maiden, in the style of Florence Sculture d’Arte (Giuseppe Armani) or similar contemporary Italian porcelain studios. The figure is depicted in a classical pose, leaning against a fluted architectural column and holding a large urn filled with hand-modeled flowers in shades of pink, yellow, and blue. She wears a flowing, diaphanous gown in tones of blue and grey, accented with gold-coloured medallions. Her hair is dressed with small floral sprigs. The figurine is mounted on a circular base with a textured paving-stone effect. The style and execution are highly characteristic of the ‘Dawn’ model produced by the Florence studio in the late 20th century.
