This collection predominantly features memorabilia related to Swiss shooting festivals (Schützenfest). It includes several Anerkennungskarten (Recognition Cards) and Mention Honorable certificates issued by the Schweizerischer Schützenverein (Swiss Shooting Association) and the Société Suisse des Carabiniers. These documents are often decorated with traditional Swiss iconography, including colourful borders of cantonal shields and illustrations of historic soldiers. Named recipients include Jean Wenger and Fritz Tellenbach, with achievement results recorded by hand. Several Swiss items bear the printer’s mark of A. Trüb & Cie, Aarau. The lot also contains a Tunbridge Wells Souvenir Letter Card, Series ‘A’, featuring six sepia-toned views. Philatelic interest is provided by various envelopes and loose stamps, including British postal history with postmarks from Sunderland and Durham dated 1971. A small cardboard storage box with handwritten notations is also included. Dates visible across the items range from 1950 to 1974.
