A collection of three vintage advertising vessels of British origin, primarily associated with Sheffield manufacturers. The lot includes a large 11-inch two-tone glazed stoneware flagon with a single handle and a screw-top neck. This piece features a black transfer-printed label for Lancaster and Sons, Botanic Brewers and Mineral Water Manufacturers of Sheffield and Staveley Town. The shoulder is marked 1/2 GALL and includes a printed legal warning regarding the reuse of the bottle. The second item is a cylindrical buff-coloured stoneware bottle featuring a circular black transfer-printed trade mark for Cronshaw and Sparkes, Sheffield, with a central monogram of the letters C and S. The final item is a bulbous dark amber glass bottle vertically embossed with the name Bovril.
