This lot comprises an extensive collection of mixed cut glass and crystal tableware, primarily characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century British production. The assortment includes several categories of glassware. Two lead crystal decanters are present, one of square form and one of bulbous bottle form, both featuring faceted stoppers and deep geometric cutting including diamond and cross-hatch patterns. There is a large group of stemmed glassware in various sizes suitable for wine, sherry, and port, many featuring diamond-cut bowls and star-cut bases. Also included is a clear glass flower bowl fitted with a removable metal wire mesh flower frog and a large, shallow amber-tinted or smoked glass bowl with a moulded ribbed pattern. Within the tinted bowl is a set of small liqueur or shot glasses decorated with multi-coloured enamel-style dots and gilt rims. The lot is completed by a small glass salt or pepper shaker with a metal cap. The clarity and light refraction across the clear pieces suggest a high lead content consistent with manufacturers of the period such as Webb Corbett or Stuart Crystal, although no maker marks are visible.
