This vintage duck decoy is produced by the Italian manufacturer Sport-plast, depicting a mallard drake (Germano Maschio) in a resting pose with its head turned back over the shoulder. The decoy is constructed from a moulded plastic or composite material and features a heavily textured surface designed to simulate feathering. It retains painted details including a red eye and remnants of yellow-orange paint on the bill. The underside of the decoy is embossed with the markings GERMANO MASCHIO, MADE IN ITALY, and MALLARD DRAKE. Integrated attachment loops for tethering are present at the tail and at the base of the neck.
