A collection of decorative metalware and folk art objects, primarily of late 20th-century origin. The lot includes a set of ornamental balance scales featuring a cast metal crossbeam with incised scrollwork, supporting two suspended bowls and a pedestal decorated with hand-painted floral motifs over a light ground, all mounted on a circular tiered wooden plinth. Also included is a stylised cat figurine constructed from overlapping copper and brass-toned metal plates with wire whiskers, resembling the Checks the Cat model by Yardbirds. The collection features a second cat figure fashioned from black-painted welded sheet metal and rods with washer-like eyes, an anthropomorphic figure created from industrial nuts, bolts, and wire on a flat base, a large painted sheet metal ladybird ornament in red and black, and a miniature cast metal vessel with a brass-coloured finish. Construction techniques across the collection include casting, welding, and formed sheet metalwork.
