An early 20th-century Anglo-Indian occasional side table crafted from solid hardwood, likely sheesham or rosewood. The circular top features a central medallion containing bone or mother-of-pearl floral inlay, surrounded by concentric bands of hand-carved floral and foliate motifs. The perimeter of the top is finished with a gadrooned border. The piece is supported by a collapsible three-panel folding base, with each panel featuring intricate pierced ajoure carving depicting grapevines, leaves, and stylized birds. The panels are joined by metal hinges and the top is secured by a cross-shaped wooden brace on the underside.
