A collection of commemorative crown coins issued by the UK and Gibraltar. The assembly includes multiple examples of the 1965 Sir Winston Churchill commemorative crown, the 1972 Silver Wedding Anniversary crown, and the 1977 Silver Jubilee crown. Also present are the 1980 crown for the 80th birthday of the Queen Mother and several 1981 Royal Wedding crowns. The collection further includes a 1967 Gibraltar crown. Each coin is struck in cupro-nickel and features a milled edge. The pieces are housed in individual plastic protective cases, many containing original descriptive card inserts from various banking institutions and minting agencies, including Barclays Bank.
