A Victorian mahogany swing dressing table mirror, also known as a toilet or cheval table mirror. The piece features an arched mahogany frame suspended between two substantial turned and faceted upright supports, each surmounted by tiered, turned finials. The base is constructed with two heavy, out-scrolled feet featuring moulded decoration, joined by a single turned central stretcher. The mahogany exhibits a rich, dark patina. A small white adhesive label with the digits 4470 is located on the upper left of the frame.
