This collection of mid-century British ceramics comprises tea and coffee ware from three manufacturers. The primary component is a Susie Cooper Glen Mist bone china service, featuring transfer-printed blue poppies with soft grey-green foliage on a white ground. This set includes one lidded teapot, one tall lidded coffee pot, one cream jug, one open sugar bowl, four teacups with three saucers, and four smaller coffee cups. Bases are marked with stylised Susie Cooper script, a six-pointed star, Bone China, England, Glen Mist, and pattern number C 1035. Also included are two Hostess Tableware Black Velvet fine bone china teacups and matching saucers, featuring a mid-century modern geometric design of black and brown circular motifs by John Russell. The collection is completed by two graduated Denby stoneware pouring jugs finished in a sea-foam green glaze with cream-coloured interiors. The larger jug is marked with the Denby stoneware scrolled oval cartouche and 1.5 PT capacity.
