A large late 19th or early 20th-century bisque porcelain figurine, modelled as a young girl seated with a small black and white dog. The girl is depicted with brown curly hair and painted facial features, wearing a voluminous ruffled bonnet and a white gown decorated with floral sprigs and a yellow frilled hem. She wears red shoes and sits upon a textured base tinted with green. To the reverse of the base are the impressed numbers 880 and an indistinct impressed symbol above. The item is in the style of German manufacturers such as Gebrüder Heubach or Conta and Boehme.
