A large hand-painted porcelain figurine by Capodimonte, Italy, depicting a young hunter or rustic youth in folk costume. The figure is dressed in a yellow ruffled shirt and a purple waistcoat with gilt accents, paired with black trousers featuring decorative blue and white polka-dot patches. Slung over his back is a rifle with a heavily ornamented, scroll-carved stock. The youth is positioned against a large, weathered leaf-form backdrop finished in autumnal tones. The figure stands upon a naturalistic base modelled as a forest floor with a tree stump and floral elements, all supported by a circular white plinth with gold-scrolled decoration. The underside of the base bears a black ink stamp with the word Capodimonte in an arc above a crowned N mark, accompanied by the text Made Italy.
