A commemorative ceramic mug celebrating the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing, presented in its original decorated cardboard box. The black-glazed mug features a gold-tone lustre handle and rim, with a central transfer-printed circular design depicting portraits of astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins against a moon-like background. Gold-coloured text encircling the portraits reads FIRST MOON LANDING JULY U.S.A. 1969. The accompanying blue square box is decorated with an all-over white star pattern and an image of the moon on the lid, which bears the printed text: TO COMMEMORATE FIRST LUNAR LANDING BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA JULY 1969. No manufacturer marks are visible on the exterior surfaces of the mug or the box.
