A collection of 20th-century British ceramics comprising various decorative and functional pieces from notable factories. The lot includes seven pieces of Wedgwood bone china in the Campion pattern, featuring a fluted, scalloped form decorated with delicate transfer-printed floral sprigs in tones of pink, purple, and orange. This group consists of one lidded vegetable tureen, two bowls, and four smaller crescent or shell-shaped dishes. The bases of the bowls bear a black printed mark depicting an urn symbol with the text: WEDGWOOD, Bone China, MADE IN ENGLAND, CAMPION, © WEDGWOOD 1984, and numerical codes 167 and 41. Also included is an Aynsley fine bone china lidded pot in the Pembroke pattern, decorated with a colourful transfer-printed bird amongst floral branches and finished with a gilt rim. The base features a blue printed mark with a crown motif and the text: EST. 1775, AYNSLEY, PEMBROKE, Fine Bone China, MADE IN ENGLAND. The collection further contains a small Wade earthenware dish with an octagonal rim, decorated with a central fruit motif and a gold border, marked WADE ENGLAND in red with a hand-painted numeral 10. An earthenware advertising dish for Newcastle Blue Star Ales features a central blue five-pointed star and the brand name printed around the rim. Completing the lot are four assorted bone china bud vases with various floral decorations including poppies and pansies, a cylindrical lidded jar decorated with British wildflowers, and a white-glazed pierced footed compote.
