The auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Estimated price: £10 - £20

Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of 20th-century domestic glassware and ceramics, likely of British origin. The collection includes approximately fifteen to twenty lead crystal stemware glasses, such as liqueur or sherry glasses, featuring traditional diamond and cross-hatch cut patterns to the bowls. Two cut glass decanters are present: one square-bodied spirit decanter with a diamond-cut base, vertical fluted shoulders, and a multi-faceted ball stopper, and a second bulbous-bodied decanter with a honeycomb or thumbprint cut pattern and a faceted teardrop-shaped stopper.

Further glassware includes a large smoke-grey glass circular bowl, a large clear cut-glass fruit or punch bowl with deep geometric cutting, and a circular glass dish featuring a silver-plated rim with an accompanying metal wire flower frog. Also included is a set of small clear liqueur glasses with gilt rims and hand-painted enamel floral motifs in red, yellow, and blue, and pieces of a glass cruet set including salt and pepper shakers with metal tops.

The ceramic portion of the lot consists of a part tea service in white porcelain decorated with blue floral sprig motifs, comprising several teacups and matching saucers. The lot is accompanied by a copy of the book The Art of Flower Arranging. While no factory marks are visible, the styles are consistent with 20th-century British production such as Webb Corbett, Stuart Crystal, or Edinburgh Crystal.
