This collection consists of various 20th-century glazed ceramic and porcelain decorative items. The lot includes two equestrian figures: a standalone horse in a standing pose with a glossy brown glaze, and a traditional hunting figure depicting a huntsman in red hunting pinks mounted on a bay horse. The collection features two oriental-style vessels: a cylindrical porcelain jar decorated with polychrome figures in a garden landscape, featuring a woven cane handle in the style of Ringtons tea jars, and a smaller bulbous porcelain pot with a lid and tripod feet, decorated with orange and gold-tone floral and bird motifs in the style of Japanese Satsuma ware. Also included are two novelty items: a ceramic model of a Victorian-style lace-up boot in a tan glaze and a small character piece modelled as a dog’s head, resembling a Corgi. The set is completed by a cottage ware ceramic cruet or desk set modelled as a rustic scene on a green base, including perforated salt and pepper shakers and a central well with a removable blue thatched roof. No factory marks are visible on the bases of the items.
