A mid-century modern sculptural art glass centrepiece bowl standing 11 inches. The piece is crafted from transparent amethyst-coloured glass, hand-blown and pulled into an organic, dynamic form. It features three broad, upward-curving wings emerging from a central well and one elongated, slender neck terminating in a tight, hand-formed scroll. The glass exhibits a deeper, concentrated colour at the base where the material is thickest. This style of pulled glass is characteristic of mid-20th-century Italian production from Murano, resembling works by makers such as Formia or Seguso. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the body or the base.
