A pair of cold-cast porcelain figurines in the Art Deco style, designed by Giuseppe Armani for Florence Sculture d’Arte. The lot comprises two figures depicting women in winter dress. One figure is modelled wearing a cloche hat and a coat with a prominent ruffled collar while cradling a small terrier-type dog. The second figure is modelled in a feathered hat and a fur-trimmed coat, holding a hand muff. Both pieces feature a matte cream-coloured finish with hand-painted facial details including red lips and defined eyes. The figures are set upon circular bases mounted to square dark-toned wooden plinths. Visible markings include a blue crown over N trademark and an impressed copyright date of 1987 on the circular bases. The wooden plinths each bear a metal plaque with the Florence script logo and registered trademark.
