A set of 12 porcelain decorative plates from The Flower Fairies Year collection, featuring illustrations by Cicely Mary Barker and produced by Gresham. Each plate is decorated with a transfer-printed design depicting various Flower Fairies associated with specific plants and seasons, including the Black Bryony Fairy, Zinnia Fairy, Pine Fairy, and Cherry Blossom Fairy. The plates are mounted within circular, stepped wooden frames. The reverse of the plates includes the title of the specific fairy, a corresponding verse, the plate number, and the Gresham logo depicting a winged insect over a globe. Markings also state © 1989 Estate C.M. Barker and indicate the items are for decorative use only.
