A heavy, hand-formed art glass centrepiece bowl of organic starburst form, measuring 12 inches wide. The vessel features five dramatically pulled and pointed lobes, creating a star or stylized flower shape. The glass is worked in a sommerso style, featuring a vibrant cranberry pink core encased within a thick layer of clear glass. The underside is designed with a heavy, four-lobed base that echoes the floral motif of the overall piece. While no maker’s marks are visible, this form and colour palette are characteristic of mid-century Bohemian art glass, specifically designs by Josef Hospodka for Chribska, though similar examples are frequently attributed to Murano glassworks in the vintage market. A small, illegible white rectangular adhesive label is present on the underside.
