A collection of five earthenware items produced for Ringtons, comprising one teapot and four lidded canisters of graduated sizes. The pieces feature blue and white transfer-printed topographical scenes depicting British landmarks, including Alnwick Castle, Hexham Abbey, and Lincoln Cathedral. Each scene is framed by decorative shell and scroll borders. The items are designed with multi-faceted octagonal bodies and are embellished with gilt highlights to the rims, handles, and finials. While no maker marks are visible on the bases, the topographical subjects and style are characteristic of Ringtons promotional ware, frequently manufactured by Wade or Maling. The teapot features a faceted body, curved spout, and simple loop handle, while the canisters have corresponding fitted lids.
