A collection of Portmeirion ceramic tea and coffee ware decorated in the Ancestral Jewels pattern. The items are constructed from white glazed ceramic and feature two distinct transfer-printed decorative schemes. One group is finished with a multi-coloured geometric border consisting of black, green, blue, orange, yellow, and pink blocks. This group comprises a coffee pot with a lid, a creamer, an open bowl, and several coffee cups and saucers. The second group is decorated with gold and ochre-toned geometric patterns, including starbursts, diamond lattices, and radiating motifs. This group includes a large lidded jar, a smaller lidded sugar jar, and a creamer. The designs reflect mid-century modern aesthetic trends. No factory marks are visible on the underside of the pieces.
