Buyer's Premium:

A collection of eleven British royal commemorative ceramic vessels and one studio-style teapot. The commemorative items include various mugs and beakers celebrating significant milestones of the British Monarchy, such as the intended 1937 coronation of King Edward VIII, the 1937 coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the 1953 coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II, the 1977 Silver Jubilee, and the 1981 Royal Wedding. Notable manufacturers identified by marks include Royal Doulton and Crown Ducal. The vessels are constructed from a mix of fine bone china, porcelain, and earthenware, featuring transfer-printed polychrome portraits, heraldic symbols, and gilded rims. The studio-style teapot is of squat globular form, crafted from glazed stoneware or heavy earthenware. It features a short spout and two lug-style handles holding a bent wicker over-handle. The body is hand-painted with abstract floral and leaf motifs in shades of cobalt blue, sage green, and burnt orange against an off-white ground, with a thick black horizontal band encircling the lower portion of the body.
