The mechanism features a kick-start lever design. The base of the lighter is equipped with three screw-down access ports. The underside bears the stamped inscriptions SWISS MADE, PATENT, COLIBRI, and BRIT PAT 321323. The British patent number 321323 is associated with Colibri designs from the late 1920s.
