A collection of British pre-decimal coins issued by the London Mint Office as part of the series titled The Changing Face of British Coinage: Queen Elizabeth II Pre-Decimal Edition. The set includes denominations of a half crown, florin, English shilling, Scottish shilling, sixpence, threepence, one penny, halfpenny, and farthing. Each coin is struck in base metal, either cupronickel or bronze, and is layered with pure gold with selective colour application on the reverse designs. The coins are housed in individual clear protective capsules and presented in a black commemorative folder accompanied by certificates of authenticity. Reverse motifs include the royal shield, national floral emblems, lions, a portcullis, seated Britannia, the Golden Hind, and a wren. Inscriptions include FID DEF and the respective denominations.
