A set of cupro-nickel fifty pence coins issued by The Royal Mint as part of the Celebrating 50 Years of the 50p British Military Set. Each coin features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark on the obverse, with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 50 PENCE 2019. The reverse designs comprise the Battle of Hastings, the Battle of Britain, the D-Day Landings, the Victoria Cross Medal, and the Victoria Cross Heroic Act. The coins are housed in the original Royal Mint descriptive fold-out presentation card and protective outer sleeve.
