The reverse features a colourised portrait of Professor Albus Dumbledore with the inscriptions ALBUS DUMBLEDORE and 25 YEARS OF MAGIC. A circular latent security feature alternates between a lightning bolt and the number 25. The obverse bears the official coinage portrait of King Charles III. Struck in silver with a proof finish and a plain edge. The item is housed in its original Royal Mint acrylic display block and illustrated outer box, accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity number 01147. This series represents the first time characters from the Harry Potter stories have appeared on official UK coinage.
