A collection of thirteen pieces of contemporary studio stoneware by the British potter Peter Cook. The set is comprised of hand-thrown forms featuring prominent horizontal ribbing throughout the bodies. The pieces are finished in a matte, speckled cream-beige glaze with dark brown highlights along the rims and within the recessed grooves. The collection includes a large water jug, a smaller jug, a lidded sugar bowl, and ten drinking mugs. Each piece features an incised signature to the base reading peter cook.
