A collection of eight antique and vintage glass bottles and jars of various forms and colours, representative of late 19th to early 20th-century British commercial and domestic use. The group includes two rectangular clear glass bottles, one of which features chamfered corners and embossed lettering for Symonds, likely Symonds and Co. aerated water manufacturers. Also included are two wide-mouthed cylindrical clear glass jars, a dark green cylindrical bottle with a tapering neck, two dark amber or brown glass bottles with sloping shoulders, and a small light aqua-coloured medicinal bottle with a rounded body. The items are primarily mould-blown with tooled or applied finishes, showing visible mould seams on the bodies and necks. One bottle retains an original cork.
