A pair of graduated decorative pails manufactured from sheet metal, likely steel, with a matte grey textured finish. Each cylindrical body is machine-formed featuring concentric ribbing at the upper rim and twin flat metal handles riveted to the sides. The front of each bucket is decorated with laser-cut fretwork lettering reading HAVE A MERRY Christmas & HAPPY NEW YEAR in a combination of serif block and script fonts, further accented by holly leaf and scroll motifs. The interiors show a consistent finish to the exterior. No maker marks or manufacturer stamps are visible on the bases or bodies of the items.
