Two items of 19th-century copper and brass kitchenware. The first item is a tea kettle constructed from worked sheet copper with cast brass fittings, including a swan-neck spout, a stepped lid with a brass finial, and a fixed overhead handle with a cylindrical brass grip. The second item is a small lidded saucepan or stewpan featuring a hammered copper body and a spun brass lid with a central finial. The saucepan is fitted with a turned wooden handle secured by a metal ferrule. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on either piece.
