A three-piece condiment set manufactured by Roberts & Belk of Sheffield, comprising a mustard pot with a hinged lid and handle, an accompanying spoon, a salt cellar with a perforated top, and a pepperette with a single-hole top. Each piece is designed with a tapering dark body, likely ebony or a composite material, featuring silver-plated mounts and circular pedestal bases. The set is executed in the Art Deco style, characterized by its geometric form and contrasting materials. The base of the items bears several stamped marks: a dolphin symbol in a square cartouche to the left; a vertical column containing the Prince of Wales feathers, an antique oil lamp, the letter S in a shield, and the initials R & B in an oval cartouche; the pattern number 9444 in the centre; and the registration mark RD NO 749938 to the right. The registered design number indicates the design originated circa 1930.
