A specialized wall-mounted signalling or duty room alarm clock from the Third Reich period, 1933-1945. The construction consists of a square wooden clock housing mounted to a larger, shaped wooden backboard. The dial features Roman numerals and two sub-dials; the left sub-dial is marked in increments of 10 to 60, and the right sub-dial is marked 1 to 12. Centred above the hand axis is a printed national emblem depicting an eagle with outstretched wings above a wreath . To the right of the clock face are two large metal bells with an external mechanical striker. The dial is enclosed within a brass bezel and glass cover. A metal mounting bracket is present on the left side of the wooden frame.
