This lot comprises five assorted surface-mounted rim locks of 19th and early 20th-century style, featuring a variety of materials including oak, iron, steel, and brass. The collection includes one large vertical rim lock with an oak-planked casing and metal edge binding, accompanied by an attached iron bow key. A second heavy-duty steel rim lock features a central circular brass mount for a handle or knob. The third item is a smaller brass-bodied lock with a tarnished patina and an attached brass-coloured key. The fourth lock is a rectangular steel utility rim lock with an attached steel key. The final piece is a large iron rim lock featuring a prominent tiered circular brass escutcheon. Also included are two loose steel bow keys joined by a wire ring.
