Domestic items include three mechanical can openers: one featuring a black-painted handle stamped with the mark IDEAL, one all-metal lever-action model, and one with a turned wooden handle and steel blade. The collection is completed by two wooden-handled hand tools, including a pointed steel awl and a curved hook tool, resembling a race knife or timber scribe. The items are constructed from ferrous metals and turned wood.
