This vintage rotary dial desk telephone is attributed to Western Electric, specifically the Model 500 series, based on the design and dial configuration. The unit is constructed from dark olive green moulded plastic. It features a manual rotary dial with a translucent plastic finger wheel and a standard North American alphanumeric layout including the OQ designation on the zero. A rectangular button marked PRESS is located on the handset cradle. The telephone is equipped with a matching coiled handset cord and a light coloured straight line cord. The internal components and mechanical dial appear to be of the period consistent with mid-20th-century telecommunications equipment.
